Taking a walk through the days of my life I visit times of laughter and joy, I unveil times of pain and frustration, and I feel exuberant that they are now only distant memories. I watch myself as a little newborn baby coming into my family like a tide, getting all of the attention and being the new toy, but soon the excitement waned away just as the moon does. As a young child I had the ultimate life, everything I did and said was neat, and to me I never could have felt below extraordinary. Then I became I teenager, boy how other people can change you! I never could have imagined that I would feel so out of place, among a thousand of others just like me. I now can only envision what the future holds for me. I hope to feel that renewed source of life which comes from being on my own, and to realize that I have a lot more to do. I will live and learn. -Teresa '96 |
